Across Chicagoland, public transit is expected to hit a $730 million fiscal cliff in 2026 as federal pandemic funding runs out. LCTA’s Annual Membership Mixer, a popular networking event, was held on Thursday, June 6 at Mickey Finn’s Brewery in Libertyville. A terrific crowd elected officials, public sector staff and many private sector representatives joined in to mingle and discuss the key projects and issues on the horizon.

LCTA joined the Transportation for Illinois Coalition for their annual Lobby Day in Springfield on March 5, 2024.
